Blu, a nerdy macaw and a resident of Moose Lake, Minnesota who was sent by the scientists to Rio de Janeiro to met Jewel, female macaw of South America. While being there, Blu tries to confront his fears of flying to win Jewels heart. Along the way, they were kidnapped by poachers to sell them to get fortune. After they escape, they avoided thieves and other creatures who tried to get them.
